Official Panthers - Saints Gameday Thread

Recommended Posts

Today the Panthers have a chance to take control of the NFC South and clinch their first playoff birth since 2008.

After their shellacking 2 weeks ago in New Orleans, the Panthers are primed for revenge. The Saints are 3-4 on the road this season and very beatable.

When: 1:00

Where: Bank of America Stadium

TV: FOX

Radio: 1110 WBT

Twitter: Follow @CarolinaHuddle for tweets from the sidelines.

Keys to a Panthers victory:

- Long sustained rushing drives featuring Mike Tolbert.

- Win the turnover battle. The field and ball will be wet, a good opportunity for a hungry defense.

- Get physical. The Saints lose their luster in matches that take a more physical tone. Speed is their game, not toughness.

Prediction:

Panthers 24

Saints 13

    • First, I think the Colts would not make this trade with Lovelace and Warren available, but, you never know.... in the first round, I think I would take (and this is a twist to what I have said before) but I might take a nickel CB who can stuff the run and is a ball hawk--we don't really have a nickel.  He could play nickel and serve as depth behind Horn and Jackson.  Wanted to go S, but high quality, hybrid players like this are not common: In the first round: 14. Jahdae Barron, CB Texas. in the second round: 45.  J T Tuimoloau, Edge Ohio State.  57.  Alfred Collins, DT/NT, Texas in the third round: 74.  Demetrius Knight, LB South Carolina 80.  Anthony  Belton, OT NC State Fifth Round:   --Sanker, S UVa;   --Riley Leonard, QB Notre Dame Seventh Round:   --Isaac TeSlaa, WR Arkansas
    • Nolen or Williams if a trade comes into play try to stay above pick 20 and get Starks. I like Walker but I feel Evero would turn him into Isaiah Simmons 2.0.
    • if your BPA at #8 is Jeanty then ideally  trade back a few spots try to get a 2nd or even an extra 3rd .picks #9 - #12 really like Jeanty  & if they want to low ball & trying to fleece you because they know you want draft Jeanty then screw it go ahead & call therir bluff & draft him then watch them get in a bidding war to acquire his rights  remeber the the ball is in your court at that point & that very least /worse case scenario keep Jeanty & Hubbard & just run the ball down the opponents throat ...just saying BPA
