Depends on the tear...

Athletes usually have a faster recovery time than your everyday individual.

Could have the cast on for seven weeks and then return two weeks later... all depends on how his body takes it.

Jon Beason rushed back from a tear, & completely ruptured it.

Kobe Bryant rushed back from a tear, & broke a bone in his knee.

It's by far the worst injury in sports & is somewhat unfixable. ACL injuries are bad but can be fixed & usually are stronger once healed. Achilles are never the same. They repair it by stretching the tendon, which makes it smaller once healed & limits mobility. Out heals by forming a scar.

No athlete is ever the same. You can't defeat physics.

I so hate that injury for Jeff.  Man, the way he fell definitely looked like a tendon/ligament injury , but I didn't think it was an achilles because he grabbed the front of his ankle.  But, they're saying that is was indeed his achilles.  He's one of my favorite players, so this sucks balls.

I feel comfortable with CDR as a stop gap, I just hope the injury doesn't affect JT's athleticism long-term.

Also, if there was any doubt about us wearing the throwback Hornets' unis tomorrow, am I the only one that saw JT's Jordans were purple and teal?

My heaven's...

Kemba was playing so good, but I will never understand those behind the back passes...

Fundamental basketball might not look as a good, but a regular bounce pass is much safer.

TBH....

"MJ" can be thanked for a lot of that. In the 80s everybody wore white shoes & those tight shorts & played fundamentally sound basketball.

Then came this lanky dude from NC wearing bright colored Nikes, baggy shorts, dribbling between his legs, fancy dunks, etc.

I know people like to say Walker isn't a distributor, but the people that say that clearly only check the box score...

He has set up Zeller, Jefferson, and Henderson countless times.. they just can't knock down the shot.

Any who Walker's half time stats are super impressive

Walker: 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block
