Spent the week in Seattle.

I know it's "kill the saints week" but still wanted to share.

I spent the whole week in Seattle, listening to local sports radio and talking with a bunch of hawks fans. Let me tell you, if we can focus and get to a rematch, the hawks fans and local sports guys are very concerned about the rematch.

I couldn't tell you how many times I heard the local sports guys talking about our defense and how we or the 49'rs are really the 2 teams capable of pulling the upset.

Even in the airport on the way out a hawks fan was beside me at the bar and seen my panther watch and just started the conversation with: "those guys scare me, (pointing at my watch) I told everyone to watch out."

Nothing earth shattering, but trust me we are not off the radar, not in hawks country.

So come on panthers!!!!! I want that rematch!!!!

Ok; back to killing the saints on Sunday...

They honestly don't think they can lose in that stadium.

Which is truly an absurd thought. As I posted before, if that were the case, then why have they only been to two conference championship games in their history? They have lost there before, will lose there again (heck almost lost to the Bucs this year), and better teams have lost home playoff games recently. Gonna be a sad day in the suicide capital come January.

Thing is, we could get a home playoff game hosting say the bears while Seattle hosts the 49ers. Niners win and we get to host the Division.

Dreams...

Exactly, the 2 seed may possibly be even better than the 1. And even if they do beat the 49ers, IMO it would be an emotional, physical game, the exact opposite of 2005 when we played that physical game with the Bears on a Sunday and flew to Seattle with no RB depth, while they hosted the Redskins on a Saturday before and were fresh.

    • How good would the Colts have been if they traded for Bryce.  Richardson is wasting a good line and quality receivers.
    • And this was with Derrick Brown having an all-time great season at DT also. Maybe this scheme was done right in Denver, but it hasn't been done right here at all in 2 years, with or without personnel. I'm willing to cut Canales some slack bc he was right in benching Bryce and has helped him develop into what looks like a guy who can be here long-term, and Dan Morgan has vouched for him too, but it's so hard to think about bringing him back after the all-time disaster this year was. Continuity be damned. Hope they are right though. This could be a playoff team with the 2nd Half of the year offense and an even average defense.
    • Re: Cam As you could probably guess, his personality didn't initially mesh well with the no-nonsense special forces guys, but they respected his performance in the challenges and he's been a good "teammate" to some of the others on the show. FYI: Also appearing this season is Golden Tate, who per his own words seems to be kind of lost in his post football life.
