Is Cam really that similar to Elway?

 

I always thought of Cam is a bigger armed/more athletic Big Ben

 

 

Very much so.

 

Although we have corralled Cam a bit this year.  

 

Elway was supremely talented, but had his demons as well.

 

Cam actually has better numbers in his first 3 years.

Elway never threw for as many yards as Cam did his rookie year. (yeah, I know.... different era)

It was Elway's final 3-4 years that really put him at HOF status.

Cam is just an incomparable beast. There was no blueprint to being Cam before. Now there is.
