i'm sure he also knows he's playing with an incredibly talented, young group that has the potential to be dominant for the next decade. it may be worth taking a small hometown discount just to stick with that and avoid getting paid a few million bucks extra to go wallow in some mediocre shitland while the panthers are dominant and gobbling up trophies
