Anyway I visited this site the week before the first Panthers game 2 weeks ago and you guys were not like this 2 weeks ago,

 

What happened in the last 2 weeks to make you think that you are somehow on the Saints level?

 

What part of 31-13 did you not understand the first time?

 

All this nonsense about Payton is scared and desperate resorting to starting a rookie at LT and all this BS.

Every single one of you on this forum would give anything to have Payton as your head coach.And the non sense about being a bad road team despite the fact that the Saints are the best road team in the NFL the last 5 years.

 

 

I understand the envy but I dont understand how you can go from humble to the way you are right now in just 2 weeks.

Its funny Saints fans always talk about playoffs, do people realize Drew Brees has only won 4 playoff games in his entire career? Hes just like Peyton Manning......he has 1 title, video game numbers but hes only good at home during the regular season.

Both Saints, and Panther fans have got to admit this game makes them a little nervous. Panthers had their worst performance of the the season in the dome 2 weeks ago! almost every great team suffers a blow out loss every season, and i guess we were due one. That was a big game for us, and we fell short when we needed a win for the sake of winning the division. But there really is no excuse! N.O. beat us pretty damn bad. And sometimes a defeat like that, as odd as it sounds can be a good thing. Because it should have humbled our team, and make them feel like they need to re-introduce themselves as the great team we have come to know and love. 2 weeks ago it looked like N.O. was gonna run away w/the division, and with the #2 seeding. And thanks to the Rams, we get another crack at taking over the division. Its so weird how the exact same scenario from 2 weeks ago is in play again. But we cannot allow the same outcome! And i find it hard to talk trash about a team that beat us so badly. you get beat 31-13 you really cant talk trash w/o looking a little silly. So Saints fans have that to hang over our heads for a few more days (and rightfully so)I still have that bitter taste in my mouth from that loss. Panther fans can be optimistic tho. And yes its been a long time since we have had a winning team...So we are a tad excited, and we should be! This is one of the best Panther teams i have seen put on the field! And the Saints, no matter where they play are capable of scoring in bunches. But i do expect a better performance from our boys. And this should be a closer game than last time. KEEP POUNDING!

this concerns me as well, but then i look at where we've been the past few years and  you know what? i'll take it. that's what you call a "good problem to have".

 

the window for this team is just cracking open. if we can get the division championship from the saints and that's as far as it goes, that's still pretty good.

 

the difference between a loss in that situation and the one in '08 is this...with the fox/jake team the window was closing. that was the swan song we all knew it, only we didn't count on it being so ugly. right now, the window is just opening and i think we all know that as well. 2008 was the end of an era. 2013 is the beginning of a new one.

I think we get pressure better this week....there offense slows down outside the dome.

And our secondary probably had there worst game staying with WRs off the line. I think there were too focused on trying to jam that they just let people run wideopen.

I hope we try to be a little less physical off the line and focus on keeping everyone in front and using our front for pressure (which we should do better at outside)
