Saints Hartley Waived

New Orleans Saints kicker Garrett Hartley was waived on Tuesday after missing two crucial field goals against the St. Louis Rams. Cornerback Chris Carr was also waived.

It's been a rollercoaster season for Hartley, who has made only 22-of-30 (73 percent) of his kicks this season, prompting coach Sean Payton to bring in five kickers to work out in November.

On Sunday following the loss to the St. Louis Rams, Payton said "he'd seen enough" in regards to benching left tackle Charles Brown. It looks like he'd seen enough of Hartley too.
