A little Richie Brockel praise...

Speaking of praise ....................

Geoff Hangartner was doing a lot of blocking for our RB's too. Checking in as an eligible receiver (oh yeah, I'd like to see that!). He definitely was a part of Mike Tolbert's touchdown run part 1 and part 2.

They're part of our lunch pail brigade. Gotta' have them and I love watching them! Does make me miss Brad Hoover and Nick Goings and Kris Magnum. Historic lunch pail crew.

I don't think Hoover was underrated at all....didn't we all yell HOOOOVVVV when he got the ball?

I thought he was well loved and Brockel is gaining a lot of that love and rightfully so.

We yelled Hoov when he got the ball.....

What made him great was when he didn't get the ball. That praise went to the RBs

Right.....which means we knew how important he was even if he got like 1 yard we still said HHHOOOOOVVV.....

It wasn't because of his 1-2 yard runs man...

He was well loved no doubt but I think you are selling our fan base short on this one.

Hoover played for his hometown team for 9 seasons.  Accounting for 2008 total yds and 8 TDs.   But was a vital part of the only RB duo in NFL history to rush for 1100 yds each.  When they mention Double Trouble you think of J. Stewart and D'Will but I can bet you when you ask those two guys.

They won't forget to mention Brad Hoover.

Based on 9 years you could say he wasn't underrated but I know I would not have wanted to replace him.  I remember we got Tony Fiammati (msp) to replace him.  Was supposed to have great hands and power that Brad had.   Tony is where?  (Went to Dallas and is playing with someone but forget who)

Brockel may not be here as long but when our running backs break free and you see #47 leading the way.

Give some love.
