Can we move Amini to RG until Wharton leaves? He has the rapport with Kalil, Wharton is very good at LG and it shores up a weak spot. Then we're down to just RT as the weak link. I don't remember the terms of Wharton's contract, but I think he's done more than enough to earn an extended stay.

Gross - Wharton - Kalil - Silatolu - rookie/FA looks good to me

Makes me wonder how a much cheaper, arguably more athletic, Dante Rosario would be faring right about now. Blocking isn't his forte either.

Greg Olsen is one of the smartest football players around. Definitely smarter than Rosario. Olsen was the one that started the talk with the officials that Steve Smith finished about the illegal formation. I can picture Olsen & Kuechly talking regulations & strategy late into the night over a couple of beers.

I was ecstatic when we signed him and I still am. There are good days and bad days for everyone. Winning the game is what matters.

I'm good with that but we better go out and get stronger+more versatile depth for the whole line in general.  People keep flipping out about these WRs we should have gone after in the 4th, but we were right in line to take Bakhtiari.  That's the only move that made me mad by Gettle but it's cool.

We need a tackle regardless of what happens with our guards, amini was playing really well before he got hurt, if he comes back around the same level he was developing and wharton comes back with kugbila then we can probably survive with those guards

Rosario is out of the league.  If he was even in the same ballpark as Olsen, remotely, he would be in the league at least as  4th string TE for a bottom feeder team, so obviously he wouldn't be doing better.  The bottom line is we need to fix the right side of our line long term, Olsen shouldn't be counted on for run blocking and pass protection, and we are forced to use him for that because Bell is terrible.

Olsen should only be occasionally blocking; I was pretty pissed yesterday on third and goal from the 8 when I saw Olsen had to stay in and block, when he's probably our best red zone threat.

Travelle's been great this year even though it was pulling teeth getting management to pull the trigger. We can't afford to play Melvin White next week.

And, since you mentioned it, I don't care what any against the grain "uni's so uncool, brah, just win baby" hipster says, those stadium lights bouncing off those silver domes and all black gear looks awesome. Downright intimidating.

Its painful watching Melvin White play CB. I absolutely hated when we cut Darius Butler a while back and now every time I see a colts game hes making a play.

Smitty was commenting on him on the radio yesterday,,,,,,,said he has talent but has hit the rookie wall. Said he needed to get better adjusting from game to game. He did not sound like Norman was a better option.

Are you thinking about the one! catch he has for the bears this year?

Or his total 18 over three seasons since he left us?

Rosario is actually backing up Martellus Bennett on the Bears. I saw him make a play last week. Just an FYI.
