Watching the Dallas debacle is extra special for Panthers fans

There is no rule to that, and obviously that's left to what is one's opinion of that. Dez bryant is a passionate player and if he thinks that he would be better served going to the lockeroom then creating a scene on the field then I'm sure his teammates understand. You sit at home judging these people but you don't know what his teammates feel about him or the situation. Obviously though things can change if his teammates felt disrespected but I'm sure they know how passionate he is and don't mind it. And as I said it's not a rule to stay on the field so it's left to personal opinion on the situation.

You don't desert your teammates out of 'passion'.

That makes about as much sense as a guy who left his seat before the game was over claiming that he did so because he's a diehard fan.

Bryant's explanation that he didn't want to be seen crying is one of the silliest explanations I've heard. They're right. He's a whiny, selfish twit.

You sound ridiculous. Suspending a guy who is passionate about winning even if he can't control his emotions? That's some mentality right there.

Yep. Some say that same thing about Cam. I just saw it as, that he could not tolerate losing, because he had ALWAYS WON. AT EVERY LEVEL.

Any similarities between Cam Newton and Dez Bryant are imagined.

Yes I know. I am just saying that the same thing has been said about Cam and his behaviors and press conferences. I have never agreed with that. I love having Cam as our QB. It's just ironic imo. I don't believe in over analyzing these players on and off the field. To me, they're just human as I am. I have done and said stupid stuff in my life. I am passionate and I also hate to lose. But Cam definitely isn't Dez. We can agree on that.

Their actions are very different.

No way I could ever imagine Cam walking out on his teammates.

Jerry Jones seems to believe he is the smartest guy in the room when it comes to managing an NFL franchise. Much of this is likely based on his dealings with the Vikings over two decades ago.

The question Jerry should now be asking himself after years of unrelenting failure is this: Was he really ever that smart, or was his Viking's counterpart during the Hershel Walker deal just that stupid?

The answer to that question seems to be more and more obvious every season.

What did Jerry have to do with Romo's last minute INT to lose the game?

Jerry is a big reason - arguably the biggest reason - why Romo is still quarterbacking.

Jerry's the guy that saw everything Romo had done to this point and still thought it was wise to make him a hundred million dollar QB.

I'd agree, with one small change.

Pretty sure the Walker trade was brokered by Jimmy Johnson, not Jerry Jones.

Either way, the Vikings general manager was definitely a moron.

31 other teams in the league and NFL network and espn have spent the majority of their broadcasts covering the dallas game.  All last night and again this morning.  It was all about how dallas lost the game and not how green bay beat their ass.  Makes me sick. Hell they even shorted the patriots by showing thirty seconds of their game highlights before going back to garretts presser or romo's or his interceptions or his audibles or dez being a baby.  Fug them!!!!!!!

So true!!!

Even worst is, their desire to remove the attention from Tony Romo and his inability to close out and make it about Dez doing what many other players, including Tpm Brady, do when they lose a game. He headed to the locker room when Tony got intercepted and the game was over with 1:26 on the clock but those at NFLN/ESPN want to sit and debate his actions as if the the real issue with that team. Talk about useless distraction.
