So, would we rather get the #1 seed by having Seattle lose out and SF win out, but allowing the Saints to then qualify as a wild card (by virtue of tiebreaker over AZ), or would we want the #2 seed and have the above scenario unfold with the Saints eliminated completely?

 

I think this is a no-brainer, but good discussion.  Unless I'm not thinking of a scenario where we could get the #1 seed and the Saints would still not qualify.

 

Let's be real, I'm just thrilled we can have this discussion in mid-December.

yeah.....no-brainer.  I don't hate the Saints enough to not have the #1 seed and put us in the best situation in the playoffs.

That's the one I believe. Almost as bad as being 10-6 and missing the playoffs, happened to a team in the AFCEast around the same year.

 

Bears poo the bed last year when they fired Lovie.

 

Started 7-1, finished 10-6, missed the playoffs.
