It doesnt matter. He was destroying our cap and refused to make the little signings each year to put us over the top - guys like Ginn, Mitchell, Florence... they wouldn't have been signed under Hurney.

75% of Hurney's drafting and roster moves are great IMO....he just balances it with the horrific 25% that consisted of missing on most of his second round picks, going full retard and offering above market contracts to free agents bc of lack of depth and never filling the back end of the roster with competetive depth.

Gettelman excelled at his first draft hitting on Star, KK, Klien, Barner(still a good pick) and filling it with DT Cole, SS Mitchell, Mikell, WR Ginn.

Hurney got arrogant with throwing 7th round picks for practice squad DTs and offing up WRs like Louis Murphy as the future of Carolina Playmaking.
