Today the Panthers have a chance to get back on the playoff track. A win today would be a confidence booster going into two divisional games. A loss would be devastating and cause fans to question the resolve of this team when the pressure is on.

Keys to Panthers Victory

 

- Open up the offense. The Panthers won't be running the ball well with the Jets stacking the box defensively. Cam must throw the ball and force the Jets defense to stay honest.

 

- Contain Geno Smith. Do not allow a repeat of a rookie mobile QB beating you with his legs and buying time. (See week 2)

 

- Blitz, Blitz, and Blitz again. Geno is not Drew Brees. He will struggle finding a target quickly enough if adequate pressure if applied.

After last week's game, and with us hosting the Saints again next week I suppose there could be a letdown.  Other than that small possibility I see no other reason that this one would be close.  Come out strong and put them away early.

Honestly kinda nervous about this one. It just feels weird.

And since we lost last week, all of my superstitions that caused us to win 8 straight now seem moot. Idk what to do with myself, switch it up? Or stick with the same strategy?
