FYI: Would be "shocking" if Giants re-sign Nicks...

Ever since Nicks was drafted, I've held out hope that one day he would come back home. I chalk up his lack of production this year to injuries/horrible team. When healthy I still believe he's a game changer. There's never be a better chance than now to make it happen.

With all that said it better be for a reasonable price, and we should still pick up a wr in the draft.

I think our aquisition/non-acquisition of Nicks will do a lot to explain what kind of GM Gettlemen is going to be, whether for good or bad I don't know either way. But we will know how much of a risk taker he is.

Gettis was looking better (than Lafail), before he became a walking injury. Nicks misses alot of time to injuries, as well. That being said, Nicks is still better than LaFail. Hopefully, there is some better FAs hitting the market, than either one of these 2.

Maclin, Decker, and Emmanuel Sanders are just as viable possibilities.  I don't get why the talk is so focused around Nicks for the WR upgrade.  Danario Alexander is coming off an injury but is also pretty good.

Agree with this. Think we let LaFell go or at least test the market.

Mid level FA WR and a 1st round WR talent would be ideal.
