I'd love to have him, but the injury concerns are legit. We'll just have to see what the market will bear and even if Gettleman has any interest. He should have plenty of inside info on Nicks.

If I could have my pick of FA WRs, it would be Decker by far but he's earned a big money deal after this year and I don't think we could swing it even if we wanted to go after him. I wanted Decker so bad when he was coming out of Minnesota. Not the fastest guy out there, but fast enough. Great size and he catches everything.

I think that's a little harsh tbh - I think ginn would be a good 2nd/3rd WR if we had better overall receiving targets.  same with smitty.  I think Olsen is far and away our best target, and if we could add in one quality #1 (or another #2-level - which is where I think Smitty is) receiver, I think you'd see everybody's numbers go up.

 

honestly lafell has disappointed me most this season, but ah well.  maybe I'm expecting too much from him.

 

Ginn has been a really nice surprise.  but he's never going to be a true #1 for us.  Hicks has that potential - if he can stay healthy...

Quit fooling yourselves if not for injuries he is 3times the WR Lafell is...but he does have the injuries that hamper his abilities and production so...

If he can come cheap bc of his injuries and down season then he is worth the risk bc if healthy he can be a number 1 WR which no one else on this roster can claim today.
