lol....touchy touchy aceboogie.

is it out of the realm of possibility for you to post that? and i think it was amini not kalil.

I have no beef with Star or KK even tho I'd rather have Keenan Allen than Kk. I was also one of the first to speak out about Josh Norman and got these same kind of responses, so it doesn't bother me.

comparing norman (who you got right) to kk is like apples to oranges.

you are not a prophet.

I'm not saying that I am. I think KK will be a very solid player for us. But Keenan Allen has been even better.

and like i said. it is WAYYYYYY to early to tell. both have produced great at their respective positions for rookies. and kk plays wayyy less snaps than keenan. kk is second string, keenan is first string because of injuries.

i like keenan a lot and wanted us to draft him. but i'm glad we got kk. with Cam we can still compete with substandard WR this year. we needed to solidify the D and go on from there. I like how DG's plan is working so far because it gave us the best chance to compete right now. still lots more work to do.

once we get the offensive pieces we will be scary good.

ill also add Cam is young. if we drafted offensive pieces, we would be relying on Cam to win us games on a much larger consistent basis. thats not a recipe for consistent wins when we have a more veteran presence on D with TD, CJ and Kraken.

that puts more pressure on Cam when we need him to grow and develop. Which we have seen this year. I think it's more beneficial to take that pressure off a young, rising star.

Remember Keary Cobert's breakout rookie year? It was an awesome indication of future years of greatness!

Rum is right. One good rookie campaign does not make a perennial all-pro.

Sorry for bringing up ol' stone hands McSmiles.

We do rely on Cam to win us games. He is 95% of our offense. You have the defense and then it's ok Cam go out up points.

You say you like Gettlemans plan, but that plan has failed to a degree. The plan was that our WR corps was so good that Ginn would be a special teams player that would see a few snaps. Edwards and Hixon was suppose to be fighting for the #3 spot. Instead we've had to rely on Ginn almost too much, Hixon doesn't play, and Edwards is in Cleveland.

So that plan actually hasn't worked out that well. We are fortunate Ginn has been able to contribute the way he has or the WR group could have been scary bad.

our defense has consistently helped win us games. Cam hasn't been relied upon to put up 35 points to win. that's my whole point.

of course we need Cam to help win us games. But he doesn't shoulder the entire load.

We aren't getting blown out like past games. Cam can score 10-17 points and we still have a chance to win.

And the plan hasn't worked? we are 9-4

None of us actually know what 'the plan' actually was or is. Although I highly doubt that Gettleman looked at his WR corps and popped the champagne. The moves made in the offseason, with the money we actually had, have made us a competitive team, and that's the only aspect of Gettleman's plan we can all be certain of.

How many times in the 2011 and 2012 did Cam and the O put us in position to win, only to watch our D give up late drives that yielded a big L in the right column? Shoring up the D was indeed the correct choice.

O deficiencies will be addressed this next offseason. And for us to have a (more) complete O to go along with this scary D is a terrifying thought for the rest if the league.
