the panthers are 9-4 and barreling in to the playoffs but everything sucks

*sniff*

at least i was right on the internet

e:  your second link is broken

Fixed.

Why people won't just look towards the future, I don't know.

The time for mourning and sulking is over.

Keenan Allen wasn't just some player like many of you keep suggesting. We showed a large amount of interest in him, probably more interest than any other team. How many players can we say our own damn position coach participated AND hosted their pro day? If you would take KK over Allen in a redraft your just dumb. We didn't take a WR because of mvp Edwards and LVP Gettis, and then they get cut.

We didn't take a WR because DT was a bigger priority. Otherwise we are complaining today that we need somebody beside star on the line and that our only other young DT in the roster is fua

Despite all your snarky comments, OP is 100% right.

Damn, man, I believe he's "right" about some things, but totally wrong to live in the past.  Damn, we're all "right" sometimes.

We don't pass cookies out for being "right", here.

Time to look towards the future. Hopefully G-man will be "right", come April, so that we can end this wrongness.

K. Allen is playing pretty good but we can't do that for every player we didn't pick that happen to be useful for other teams. We got what we really needed. We needed DTs and we have some of the best young studs. Look how long it took us to find that. Imagine teams running on us at will but they are not. We have a good team. We are 9-4 and could possibly end up 12-4. Let's enjoy this ride we are on. Who knows that can happen once we enter the playoffs? As for drops, everyone has them. It is part of the game. I will think about the offseason when it is here but we still have a lot of football left and I am cheering for my boys to make this run.

I'll say a few things:

-It says a lot about our current staff's eye for talent that they were clearly looking at him the most out of any WR

-Blame Hurney because he would've been ours with the missing 3rd rounder

-I had one too many Moscow Mules last night

We've had an explosive offense in the last three years. Cam broke all kinds of records and was sitting at home in January. The defense AND the offense are only a few draft picks and FAs away from being complete units. I trust Gettleman and I'm glad he didn't make knee jerk selections like going WR when the middle of our defense was a turnstile. We will get a WR, and then people will complain about another position of weakness and point to other picks that were available.

This year we will walk into the draft with more picks not less. I really doubt DG missed him he just didnt have the pick to get him. We needed a UT and DT something bad last year and he made two great picks. This year you can bet WR and OT/OG is on the list. I also expect him to fill as many holes as possible threw FA. No more sitting pat and making desperate moves in the draft.
