The Ryan brothers are talking

I don't see how them talking gives Rex any more help than watching the film of the game.  That is the point really, there are 4 games you can look at to stop the Panthers offense.  New Orleans is just the last one.  It should be noted that 3 of those 4 games were on the road though.  We are a better team at home just like the Saints.

BTW how much did it help us to see how Seattle beat NO 2 weeks ago.  Yeah well that is how much it will help Rex to hear how Ryan beat us.  The point is that each team has it's own personnel and have to use what they got.  Right now they don't even play the same base package.

Meh - they do have a talented group playing D for them and they do have a head coach who is a pretty good defensive guy.  Add in that he has access to his brother's notes / successes it's not a unit to be ignored by any stretch.

However the Jets top to bottom are just not as good as the Saints and I don't expect this game to be a loss.  Especially not in Carolina coming off of a bad loss last week.  Jets coaches will have a bit of a heads-up but our weaknesses aren't exactly a secret.  The Saints weren't the first team to try to exploit them...they just did the best job at it.  Just lining up and beating us isn't as simple as "this is how you line up and you will kill them".

I'm  more concerned about how the identified flaws pointed out Sunday are fixed, if they can be.  Hard to fix lack of talent.

The blueprint is there now...I want to see how the coaches address it.

D Line seems to be just, absent, also

To be honest, I'm fairly glad that if the Panthers make the playoffs they will most likely  draw the Lions, I won't be coughing up money as the game will be played in Detriot.  I mean think about it, Megatron against Capt Munnerlyn or Melvin  White, my God.  .

We tried the same but didn't have the guys that could do it.

Our secondary just doesn't match up against big physical receivers.

(or speed receivers, sadly)

Seems we were so focused on jamming the receivers that when they avoided the jam our guys were left standing there while they were wide open 10 yards down the field.

The truth of the matter is that against New Orleans, we played like crap, while Brees and company were on fire.  That might motivate us against the Jets, or it might have no impact.  Nothing the Ryans say to each other is likely to matter much.

Rivera is bound to know someone the Jets have played this year, maybe he can place a call.

I doubt we'll run well against the Jets.

If we beat them, it'll likely be through the air.

The problem is you have to put that in the gameplan, you know ummm attack the other teams weakness. We seem to play right into it. Run, Run, let their pass rush get after you on obvious passing down.
