The Ryan brothers are talking

Mr. Scot

I'm sure the conversation went something like: "Yeah that Byron Bell guy, line up your best pass rusher against him and enjoy."

The only thing that makes me feel better is the knowledge that when Bell pooped the bed in the Bills game he responded with some very well graded performances according to both PFF and the eye test.

We see Geno in for a tough day down in NOLA. The only thing holding back the Jets from being a good team is at QB. The rest of the team is pretty solid. If they can run on you, then it's trouble. We lost cause of some really poor play with our WR's. Colston and Sproles was out of the game as well.

What the fug did you just write this barely passes for English

Our defense might put up 14 points.

he won't need a drew brees to vet enough points to beat us.

we scored 13 points and 7 of those points was essentially garbage time. the game was out of hand by that point.

if rex improves on his brother's model (which, being the smarter of the two could be the case) we'd be lucky to score 10 unless we really fix some things dramatically. all the jets need to do is put up a couple of TDs and they could win it and all those points wouldn't have to come from the offense.

it's not surprising that they'd do this and i think this could be a huge deal. if i were this coaching staff, i would essentially treat this as us facing the same defense three weeks in a row...at least strategically. this is no time to play it safe.

It hurts my feelings as a Panthers fan that we lost to one of the best teams in the NFL, at their place, and now the 8 games prior to that mean poo to some of you. We are going to smash on Geno and The Jets and it's really not even going to be close. I'm thinking something similar to St. Louis or either of the Bucs games.

Our offense was looking lost on their own,  due to playing from behind..          if you've to try and match Brees,  and score on every drive,  you gonna have a bad day.   Our offense isn't built like that.

The Jets will not be scoring on every drive.   As long as our defense doesn't let up against them,  we just need one clutch drive in the 4th,  to win the game,  if it is close.

New York Jets on the road this season:

At New England:  Loss 10-13

At Tenn. Titans:  Loss 13-38

At Atl Falcons:  Win 30-28

At Cincy Bengals:  Loss 9-49

At Buffalo Bills:  Loss 14-37

At Balt Ravens:  Loss 3-19

For those keeping score, the Jets are 1-5 on the road this season with a point differential -105 on the road.  Where is this vaunted defense I keep hearing about?

Geno has 12 int's in those six games, the only game without came against the terrible Falcons defense.  He also has four fumbles lost on the road.  They are giving up nearly 31 ppg on the road, while scoring 13 ppg.

We should not only beat the Jets, but crush them.  If we happen to lose to them, we don't deserve to be a playoff team.
