Had you told us what it was in the OP most people (not all obviously) would have said "oh cool" or something to that affect...

When I first saw it idk what it was, whether you were making fun of someone else, thought it was neat or what... Don't be so touchy man.

I fixed the OP. I responded reasonably and let most of it go until it just became a pile on.

Moving on..

"This sucks bro" or any variation isn't feedback, it's assholery and trolling. You know it, I know it, but you condone it anyway.

The first replies had no idea you made it. I suspect if you would have explained a bit what it was the reception would have been nicer. What you got was blunt honesty and it hurt your feelings, justifiably so. No one likes to see their own work slammed. Lord knows I have had it happen countless times.

For the record, it's a decent 3d model but a poor likeness. I don't believe many people would guess it to be Cam without the thread title.

I would suggest a few drawing classes with pencil and paper if it's something you are truly interested in. Give the guys at Pixar a pencil and every single one can draw their ass off.

The resemblence thing might be amended by giving him more of a jawline. The one drawing class I took has already worn off of me. This was for an intro to computer graphx class. I don't know if it's something I would do since it's very frustrating work. We'll see.

My wife drew caricatures at amusement parks in Florida to put herself through school and her fine arts degree. There is a whole lot to it.

Find someone like that to teach you a few things and it would pay off.

I use internet tuts mostly. You can't just draw willy nilly, you have to have an eye for proportions just like realistic drawings.

I posted the drawing earlier in the thread.

I have a buddy who is pretty good at this stuff, he sculpts in the computer then 3D prints for casting. He teaches an intro class at the show I work at every year.

yeah this is insane obviously. thought it might be cool to 3d print like a bobblehead looking figurine to have at my desk.
