NCFAN's mock v2

FA: Hardy-see Gettle working out some sort of magic and locking him back up.

Nicks- popular by some not so much by others. Nicks stock is dropping by the week. Nicks charlotte native and former UNC WR, signs cheap for former giants scout Gettleman. Comes home and try to save his career before its to late. Perfect ideal situation for him. Gets to go home and play in front of his friends and family with a potential HOF WR he grew up watching and looking up to. Also fits piece that gets playoff contender one piece closer to that superbowl

Charles Tillman- think stewie is gone this season which should open a little money next year. With a weak secondary Tillman sees another opportunity to play with a strong front under Rivera and another shot for a ring.

Jeff King- a wildcard pick here. With the flop with our #2 TE. King a Solid blocker with sure hands fits in like a glove at the 2nd TE spot

Ted Ginn, Gross, and Gano

Draft:

1st: Kelvin Benjamin- after a big game in the BCS championship he declares. Still doesn't jump Evans, Watkins, Lee. Falls in perfect situation in Carolina who is in desperate need for weapons for Cam. If Nicks rejuvenates his career and Benjamin looks solid off the bat, smith easily is moved into the slot for the small WR who is getting up there in age.

2nd: Kyle Fuller- physical CB who gets to start opposite and work with Vet; Tillman. Shows immediate impact.

3rd: Ed Reynolds- luckily With the super deep corner class, some gems will fall to us in the late 3rd. Ed Reynolds looked to be one if not the best Safety in the nation last year. Lacks elite athletic ability (wouldn't surprise me to see him run a 4.6 range at combine), but has some of the best instincts and knowledge of the game. With the front 7 we have along with the 2 corners we bring in. Reynolds should fit in quickly, also moves Mitchell over to SS which should look better than he is now.

4th: JuWaun James- BIG OT who should be able to into the RT. overshadowed by his counterpart on the left side at Tennessee, this massive road grader falls to the 4th and is mentioned in the race for starting RT. Him and a healthy Kug on that right side should open up some holes that DWill hasn't seen since a healthy Otah

5th: Raijun Neal- would love to grab Andre Williams here (everyone has him falling) but just dont see it. with Stewie possibly gone, we still have a nice stable of backs, Lead back (Williams), smasher (Tolbert), Scat all-purpose (Barner). Still with Shula's offense still safe to have your RB stable stacked and maxed out.

7th: Beau Allen- have some solid rotation guys for our bookend ends. Time to get some guys in to help our top 2 picks from last year stay fresh

7th: James Franklin- this staff did real well with another "mobile can't throw system QB". Gives them another raw toy to groom as a backup.

I like this a lot. I know everyone is in love with Tillman in the offseason but I don't know if that will happen. I wouldn't mind it but I like your draft except I would like a big time tight end fairly early.

I would love a TE as well. I just don't think Ebron will be there for us. He's the only one I'd draft at where we will be. Benjamin could be the #2 WR behind Cooper next year, but like everyone else he will probably jump with a good BCS game especially if projected first round. He could come in and make a Huge impact especially if we get a hungry Nicks on the other side allowing Smith to play the slot.

Tillman and Nicks I think are Very possible to come here, with connections to the team/area/etc state of the team and where they are with their career.

Nicks most feel will be expensive but no one is going to give him Big money. The panthers have All the tool and have career saving position written all over it for him. Plus the giants former scout as our GM, if we want him we get him.

Tillman while been in Chicago forever, But getting up there in age. Like most vets around the same point is hungry for a ring. Panthers again have what he "wants" written all over the organization.

Coming into the league, he was thrown into a Strong lead by a sick front 7 coached up by d coordinator named Ron Rivera. That defensive carried the bears all the way to the Super Bowl only to be beat by manning. Now there is a team head coached by Rivera with the #1 D carried by a strong front 7, just need that DB. One thing that this team has the bears didn't though is a young stud QB, a potential HOF WR also hungry for a ring. A multi probowl LT at the end of career also hungry. The orginzations all time leading rushers getting towards the end wanting it (just like stephens Davis). This spot has Tillmans name written all over it.

I can't argue with any of that. I'm hoping a lot of teams will reach at qb and Ebron will fall to us somehow.
