The hit that could end Stewarts career... you make the call...

More rule changes coming in the offseason.  Way too many ACL injuries, and to high profile players playing on high profile teams.  Gronkowski and the Pats for example.   I guess that they need to create a tackling zone kinda like a strike zone for pitchers.  Above the knees to the shoulders.  This of course is going to add to the already big advantage that the offenses have in this league.  What did the NFL think was going to happen when you start fining the poo out of these players for the  hits they make.  They will adjust their tackling style of course and now we have a rash of ACL injuries.

Literally nothing dirty about this. Nothing at all. Anyone who says otherwise needs to quit whining. Players get hurt sometimes on football plays. This is one of those instances. He's not a quarterback, he's not "giving himself up". He's a big RB with a history of breaking tackles. If he's still in the field of play he's still eligible.

Its a clean tackle. the defenders upper body is above the knee in the thigh area. And this is what the NFL wanted. So now I want to see tons of suits for damages to knees/ Ankles etc.

We all know this is about MONEY and the NFL not having to pay out in the future for Concussions. They will say 'we did everything we could and even changed the rules'.

I've been hearing all the media this morning...of course not talking about stewart but about Gronk and that low hit that tore everything in his knee and still gave him a concussion.  Secondary players have nowhere else to hit but low are they get a flag and or fine.  So instead of getting concussions that can heal over a few weeks time or sometimes longer these guys are getting ACL tears that could sit them for life.  But like the talking heads have said players can't sue the NFL for hits that knock out their ACLs just that knock them out.  Tricky tricky NFL.  I hate the commissioner isn't his time up yet......KEEP POUNDING!!!!!

Would you prefer it if the NFL allows players to be hit in the head repeatedly as long as they cover medical expenses?
