Talking about an interesting STAT.

2013 Defenses: Pts/Game

01 Panthers 14.5 (yes, still the #1 scoring D after last night)

02 Seahawks 15.8

03 49ers 16.5

04 Chiefs 17.2

05 Saints 18.7

06 Bengals 18.8

07 Cardinals 19.8

08 Ravens 20.1

09 Dolphins 21.2

10 Patriots 22.1

The Panthers offense has played 6 of the top 10 (eh, 9) scoring defenses in the NFL. (the Bucs are tied at 11th with the Chargers @22.4pts/game).  On the surface, yes the Panthers offense has it's issues at times, but it's not like the Panthers are an NFL enigma. The offense struggles against quality scoring defenses and abuses bad defenses. They are a good-to-average offense in a division that didn't get to play the NFC North who has 4 teams that give up lots of points., Except for the Eagles D, no one in the NFC East is any good either.
