Why is this so hard for many of you to grasp.....Aso does NOT fit our scheme. He is terrible in zone.

I am all for upgrading the CB position. But, it needs to be with a guy that has the skills to be successful in the scheme we run.

You don't have a scheme that was implemented in training camp and did half the season...and then make that drastic of a change mid season. That is lunacy.

You tweak... You don't scrap and start over mid season.

Nobody is saying Aso is the answer and will solve everything. Im tired of a 5'5 CB constantly getting abused when you can someone better for cheap. We used Munnerlyn in man coverage, not zone a few times this season and he gets burned so that system excuse is not a valid excuse. Florence got burned in man coverage by Jackson cause he didn't get the proper jam on him. That drive when ostrich neck had a fluke fumble, yes it was a fluke play.  At-least Aso like Rivera said can keep the man in front of him. We coulda had him like 5 games ago, a month ago for cheap and I bet you after Patriots and Miami game Rivera would be trying him as a starter

Or not run a zone defense.  Just because that's what the coaches learned coming up doesn't mean they can't do it.  If players have to adjust I would think coaches could to.  I mean it's football not rocket science.

Too late to really change anything material in our scheme this season. Gotta roll with what we have. I see the offseason as a different story...I think Gettlemen will address OL, cb, and WR in some fashion before next year.

Problem is that we might have to lose Hardy to be able to afford it.

Im saying pick him up.. no one else has. Play him when reasonable. He will make a difference.
