Dude please go jump off a bridge. I never said anything about wanting to fire him because of the loss tonight. I just asked people opinion whether DG and JR keep him or not if we don't make the playoffs. Good record or not. I didn't say nothing about wanting him fired. So read the post before over reacting. Smh!!

You keep him.    Keep him and gettleman,  keep doing his magic and get us some gd Oline help and a freaking WR that we can actually funnel the ball to if needed.   A  WR like JJ, Megatron, AJ Green,  not exactly to their quality,  I'd take a nice,  big,  tall,  #1 WR  that Cam can just toss the ball up to,  and know that our new #1 WR will win his match-up more times than not.                          I love SS89.. favorite panther of all time,  he is the heart and soul of our team,  but he'd probably do a lot more dmg if he's not forced to be the #1.

Keep him.          and HOPE gettleman continues to do his magic*.  My mistake.  worded it wrong.    I want to keep Rivera and I want gettleman to continue building up our roster.    He does that and I think Rivera will have us as contenders year in and year out.

 

Not claiming Gettleman should be fired or not.  Like I said,  worded it wrong.

Now before anyone jump down my throat and all. All I'm doing is asking a simple question. And yes I know we are still in the playoff hunt. I'm just saying. If for some odd reason we should miss the playoffs by a hair. Do you think DG and JR would fire Ron and move on to find another new HC or do they keep Ron through next year and hope that he has another good year?

 

 

 

 

If we make it to the playoffs and we lose the first game we give him one more year to prove this year wasnt a fluke. If he wins at least one game in the post season give him a three year extension.

Riv has this team believing and 9-4. He has complete control of the locker room and the respect of the guys. Yes he has room for improvement, but he's gotten the more out of these guys than I thought he would. I still say RR is on a short list for coach of the year. We are a few linemen, a receiver, and some help in the secondary from being perennial championship contenders. It will happen in the next year or two. Firing RIv would be a huge mistake.
