You may want to look up the definition of rationalize. I'll give you a hint, the threads about us being like San Diego, the ones about Rivera, and any other threads trying to find a scapegoat for the loss relate to the definition, but not in the way you think.

 

i wasnt rationalizing anything. i was stating fact. now to rationalize would be to claim that our team just got big-headed and lost focus... sure the game meant alot but the fact is that we got out coached and failed to adjust or execute. we are still a great team capable of great things. no rationalizing there. time to let it go and focus on the Jets.

We're suggesting Rivera could struggle in the playoffs because Norv Turner did?  

That's as ridiculous as suggesting that he'll get to the Super Bowl despite terrible QB play because Love Smith did.
