IGNORED THE WR POSITION FOR YEARS. K Allen is balling. What do you do? use that pick on a guard who doesn't even know what his helmet looks like.

ALLEN WAS DRAFTED IN THE THRID ROUND. WE DIDN'T HAVE A THIRD ROUND PICK, WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT

Gettleman has this team on a 3 year plan for a turn around. Just so happens they are doing well in his first year.

You could never address all of this team's issues in one offseason, not with the cap Hurney left him.

I find it remarkable Gettleman was able to do this well with very little to work with. All of you expecting us to bring in key players at every position in one offseason aren't being very reasonable.

Sit back, relax, and be happy we still very much care about our remaining games in mid December... go look at the Falcons board if you need a reminder of how much a extra month long extended offseason sucks.

But in Madden you can fix everything in one season!

None of the other teams ever have rebuilding seasons! Why are we the only team that sucks?

If they would have gotten the players I wanted we'd be undefeated right now

Lol at people blaming Gentleman. Only had one iffy draft pick and made great moves in FA.

Only nitpickers and naive people will complain.

Whatever. G-Man could have put more effort into improving the WR corps, and he could have done so very cheaply. He played his hand like he wanted to play it, and that's fine, but don't act like all the decisions that he has and hasn't made have been great. There have been some missed opportunities. Overall, Gettleman has done a good job at best, and an adequate job at worst in my opinion.

Come on, man. I have a hard time envisioning you playing Madden. **ROFL**

LOL mike Wallace was in the slot when capt was lined up with him. Florance,White and Munnerlyn in the nickle. Anyone that watches games knows this.

Please look at this video. Mike Wallace and Captain Munnerlyn are clearly lined up outside. Mike Wallace runs a go route and beats Munnerlyn for 53 yard TD.

Again Captain and Wallace are lined up outside and Munnerlyn gets beat again for a 57 yard gain.

Also I have watched every Panthers Game since 2002.

Honestly, I don't think CB is as big of a need as WR and OL. We have the number 1 defense in the league right now with scrubs. Sign some cheap free agents or get one in the draft if the cards fall our way. Recent super bowl winners have had no names at cornerback.

We need a true number 1 wide receiver and can't continue to go without one for long. I am hopeful our two young guards will pan out and we will just need to focus our tackles in the draft.

next most important would be OL. first we need to consider that we already have Kugbila and Silatolu. if they can stay healthy, i think our OL wont need as much work as we think.

What has Kugbila shown you? Silatolu is injured yet again. Nobody on this line can stay healthy save for Jordan Gross. We need more quality depth and a new beastly RT. I'm sick of Byron Bell watching DE's fly past him or shrug his shoulders when he uses an inside move on him.

Thankfully, our team is in Gettleman's capable hands. With us winning now it will be easier to get free agents to come here. Look for us to do similar things that we did last off season. Get quality FA's and draft the best player available. Seems like this year's draft will be pretty deep.

Offensive Line...

Cornerbacks...

Wide Receivers...

Even in the games we've won, these three units just havent played that well.

Give the team credit. They've made progress this year, but these areas are still lacking.

If you wanna be a championship contender, you can get by with one, maybe even two weak units on your team. Three? Doubt it.

These things definitely need attention this offseason.

Offensive Line> DBs> WRs in that order... A killer line will give cam enough time to go through lots of progressions and create running game holes. Making the importance of great WRs not as much. In this league with the passing, if you do not get to the QB, your gonna get killed. There are teams that play around that well (NO, GB, NE, and DEN) because their QB plays dink and dunk. You need better than average DBs to cover WR's in those kinds of games. That same killer Oline if they are good can grind out those games and limit the possessions of the other teams.

I'm not sure how you feel Scot but that's my view on it.

OL is first in my mind (of course).

I'm debating the other two.

Ok kiddies, listen up. Let Hubby ease your minds. We are not in rebuilding mode. We are in TWEAK mode. So, in that vein, here is how it will shake out.

1st round Stud LT, or bring one in as a FA. This is one of the few positions that justify spending some money on. A Stud LT would allow us to move Gross over to the right side for a couple more year.

2nd round Stud WR. If he has the talent, he will see the field sooner rather than later.

3rd round Stud CB. Even a third would be better than what we have presently.

If we bring in a FA LT, go WR in the 1st, and CB in the 2nd. Still leaves most of our picks to go BPA.

Hardy can resign, if he is willing to take fair market value. Otherwise, see ya. I would hate for us to lose him. But, if he wants more than we can pay, we cannot afford to keep him.

Amini was coming into his own, he will be a good one. For RG, we have a glut of guys to fight for that spot. The competition should elevate that spot well enough to help us.

To reiterate. The only FA we really need, is a LT. We are close to being a very good team. We do not need to go crazy to upgrade every spot the fans perceive as a weakness.
