Riverboat Ron Out, Responsible Ron In

Meh. I bet we'll go to Dallas and it will be a tight game and Rivera will go too conservative while the more experienced (but not better) team takes a few chances, is aggressive with their gameplan and comes away with the win with it being the difference. We play not to lose still in big games too much. makes us less dangerous.

Some people on here at like this is Madden and that Rivera has to go for it every single 4th down for them to be happy. Smh.

Yup. The Saints D was tough all game. I thought we made the right choices taking the field goals. You could make the argument that we should have gone all out on both drives for touchdowns, but either way, it would have made no difference. IMO the bottom line is the entire team and coaching staff laid a massive, collective egg tonight. And the Saints played what I think was their best game of the season.

i can't think of a point where rivera should have gone for it on 4th down knowing what he knew about the game at the time. maybe that one fourth-and-five... but even then no.

there were a lot of problems tonight, but ron rivera not going for fourth downs was not one of them.

According to the announcers, Rivera said, "you can't beat the Saints kicking field goals".

Every decision? Go for 3

Zone defense, short passes

Ginn takes touchback at end of half when return was only real chance for a score.

Saints should get credit for punching us in the mouth, but we get credit for crying "uncle"

No swagger, all stagger.

We always play zone, and they were 4th and long. Relax man, it's all up hill from here.
