I won't really bag on ron. we had our chance to go up 14 points like arizona. payton blessed brees with somebody who he can just throw it in the endzone somewhere in the receiver area and most likely will be a catch. cam doesn't have that. thats what i blame rivera for

far as the defense, he said he let mcdermott handle the D. he said it early in the year. constant zone and lack of blitzes was a terrible gameplan

Some of you are about the most retarded people I've ever had the pleasure of reading.. Nice job arm chair coaching though! Super Bowl winners for sure!

I will say this though... This team needed it's butt kicked once before the playoffs to show them that hey.. You still can get taking down a notch by any team. It's a wake up call folks.

Time to wake up Carolina..

And as far as you tard nuggets.. STFU realize.. You don't know crap about football.. Hell you're probably not even old enough to get your first insurance lowered yet. So please tell me how you'd have won this game again?

Shula.. Dear god man. Not your best game tonight.

Stew.. You looked awesome.. Hope that knee is okay man. That ish made me cringe from the couch.. Ouuuch.

he was scared. I knew that Ron would be back

You could be right. Cause it was the fear of expectations after the Panthers/Cam's first year, why all of a sudden Rivera got so conservative with leads and on 4th downs, both costing the Panthers seemingly numerous games.

Hopefully, this was a brain fart, and Riverboat will be back with a vengeance. But it does make you wonder, can Ron Ron coach the big game? Both Frisco and New England (before anyone mentions them) did not count for the division.

But l'll be fair, and chalk it up to a bad road loss, to a great offense that was embarrassed the previous week, playing against a complacent team who just won 8 in a row?

According to the announcers, Rivera said, "you can't beat the Saints kicking field goals".

Every decision? Go for 3

Zone defense, short passes

Ginn takes touchback at end of half when return was only real chance for a score.

Saints should get credit for punching us in the mouth, but we get credit for crying "uncle"

No swagger, all stagger.

Rivera is what he is.
