We need to sign those Michigan State corners

OK, let's get this out. STATE just beat o.u. for the Big 10 Championship. And I am 2 ships in the wind. Trying to have fun this late at night is something I haven't done in a while. I guess I am out of practice.

If I have misstepped. Fug it. I don't care. Maybe tomorrow. Just not tonight. SEC football is overrated. Big 10 football is where it started. We win.

It's cool hubby. Get wasted! Drunk huddle posting is one of the finer things in life. Enjoy and cheers.

And...

Goooooooo Cats!

I appreciate that. But, if you are going to do it, the least you can do, is do it right.

The thought process is that I am a Panther, AND, (Lifelong) Lions fan. So it is GOOOOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See the difference? Not that there is anything...aw fug it.

SEC CB's and Safety's are more Pro-ready than anything you will find up there.

Yeah, we saw the awesome prowess of those SEC defenses on full display tonight.  I watched the two best SEC teams play a highly entertaining football game tonight that was almost entirely devoid of anything that even remotely resembled defense.

He's a great corner, I don't see a point in moving him to safety. Just stupid in my opinion

Well there you go. A man with a firm belief in his opinion. Gotta love it.

My only question to you is. How often have you seen him play?

Hey, in all reality, I agree with you. Darqueze is a very physical, smart, and talented CB. He can bump and run with almost any WR he faces, as well as most TEs. And he has faced quite a few in the last 3+ years. He is also very good in zone as well. He would compete for a stating spot from the day he joined the team.

Teamed with Mitchell and Mikell, he would be a great addition. But...IMO, he is a natural FS. Wherein lies the dilemma, for me at least. Mitchell can hit, Dennard can create turnovers, can cover anyone, can tackle, is smart/instinctive, and is extremely coachable.

If we go into camp with what we have. Darqueze would be a CB. And that would make us better. And that is the bottom line. Whether it be CB or FS, the kid is worth having on our team.

Fug it. I'm done. Love you guys. Really.

We can't complain when we pick 1st one year, 9th the next and then 14th and get studs each time.  When we have to pick 32 this year, Gettleman's GM prowess will be on full display.

The Big 10 sucks donkey bulls anyway.

SEC CB's and Safety's are more Pro-ready than anything you will find up there.

This line is getting tired and fuging dumb. And frankly it's inaccurate too. The top three corners in the NFL are from schools outside of the SEC. Sherman, Revis, Talib, Tillman, Verner, Flowers, Webb, Carr and Hall are all in that top 10-12 CB group and all from non SEC schools...

In reality, any draftable CB would likely come in and immediately compete for a starting spot on our team.  Hell, we did our best to make Norman one and he was a 5th rounder from a small school and extremely prone to error.  If we take a CB in the first three rounds, he's going to be given every opportunity to earn a starting role.

Am I the only one that feels like our secondary while be exposed at times this season is still fine. Our main focus for the first to 2 rounds is to focus more on finding a top WR so Cam can throw to and to replace Smith in a year or 2 and get an olineman to protect Cam as well. If we are looking for CBs in the draft. I see DG doing it in the 4th and above. The first 3 picks will be most like on 2 olineman and a WR. Those areas are on the top of the list right now.
