Rivera trademarks "Riverboat Ron" nickname

Ron said he trademarked it right after the NE game, so it's a done deal.

And in hindsight, it makes sense. I don't believe you can actually obtain a trademark that quickly. So apparently he's filed, but that's as far as it's gone.

Yeah.  The image Kendrick linked above just says "Applicant".

 

Someone previously edited his Wikipedia page to list his name as "Ronald Eugene 'Riverboat Ron' Rivera" but then someone else edited it out.
