Vegas Books Do Super Bowl Shuffle as Panthers Win Eight Straight

The Carolina Panthers have sports books juggling their Super Bowl odds after becoming the first National Football League team in 20 years to run off eight straight victories following a 1-3 start.

The Panthers two days before the start of the season had 66-1 odds of winning the Super Bowl, according to online sports book Bovada.lv, putting them 25th among the league’s 32 teams.

I put money on the Panthers to win the NFC a couple months before the season, I believe it was 33-1 at the time.

I agree, which is why I made the bet. A rarely bet futures like that but 66-1 was hard to pass up on a team with so much potential.

~$200 or so. I gotta find the ticket to be sure. I won quite a bit on craps and went over to the sports book and put down the cash I had on hand which I think was around $200 or so.
