Can the Panthers run on New Orleans?

Bubble screens to Tolbert to make them ease off their blitz and punish the secondary physically. D'Will should be used in healthy doses as I think he is due to break some big ones open Sunday.

We should use Stewart only to rest D unless it's clear he has the hot hand.

Tolbert running to the strong side behind a pulling guard sounds like a recipe for success.

Cam will do what Cam does when he has to (which is saving our asses when a play breaks down.)

saints games are what deangelo williams uses to pad his stats.

we always run better on them than most. not sure why this year would be any different.

Except they don't have the statistically worst run defense in NFL history this year. But hey I wish i could write them off as the same Saint's defense, but at the same time I must credit them for their unexpected and commendable improvements.

They're not the same Saints defense, but their run defense was so lousy against Seattle that they had to put 9 men in the box. Yes that's right, 9. I think they wanted to put 10 in but they had to somewhat try to cover the receivers without leaving them completely unguarded. We should be able to run the ball and force them to move extra defenders down, which will allow Cam to go to work against their average Joe secondary.

Keep in mind that any time D-Lo gets stuffed behind the line, the crowd is gonna go ape-poo. We have to try to avoid playing into the hands of the Saints' home field advantage and we can ill afford wasted downs.  Even if D-lo runs for 1 or 2 yards, thats better than -2.  Hopefully Shula will see that running D-Lo between the tackles has to result in positive yardage.  No wasted downs.  I know we need to show that look from time to time, but on the road against a team that can go 80 yards in 3 plays and 60 seconds they need to pick their battles wisely.

We have a lot of options so the best strategy is to give the Saints so many diverse looks that they can't key in on any one player.  Also, don't forget that Tolbert is a good receiver, so that adds a dimension too.
