Not really. There is noting on that page that even says panthers. The colors are slightly different also.

He made the original blog post which showed that exact same logo with "Carolina Panthers" written on it. That logo be designed was tied to the team in his fantasy blog. He used the teams likeness and made that as a 'what if' logo for the team if they existed years ago. Then he removed the wording from the logo and is advertising it to fans of the Carolina Panthers as a short with a retro Panthers logo.

It may be indirect but he is still using the Carolina Panthers likeness, without permission, to make a profit.

I'm not a lawyer but I would bet that he could get into trouble over that.

Yes, someone without morals could steal a designers logo and make their own shirt to save 10 dollars.

I guarantee if the original blog post link plus the link selling that shirt were combined and sent to the team it would be removed fairly quickly.

I like it but it seems a bit pricey for a tshirt unless the quality of the tshirt is exceptional.

 

The t-shirt itself is American Apparel which is a high quality shirt Made in the USA.
