Kickoff Returns...

I just don't trust Barner with the football right now and I don't think the staff does either.  He's been inactive a bunch and even when he's been active, he's only gotten touches after the game has been decided.

 

I think they like his potential, they just don't trust him right now.  Hopefully we see a big jump between his rookie year and second year.

We have Cam, Williams, Tolbert, and Stewart.....all running the ball.  I don't think the lack of reps shows they don't trust Barner.  They could love him, they could hate him.  Bottom line, there aren't carries for the runners not named Barner if everyone is healthy.

 

I think if we ever  got a chance to see Barner in some space.....we would like the result

You gotta admit that each time he returns a kick you feel a rush though, he will break off a big one soon.

Ginn is electric in space, why would you take any touches away from him?

 

Not to mention he's a field general on ST's and extremely reliable.
