You suggested we trade him at some point.

If someone suggests getting rid of deangelo you fly off the fuging handle worse than any cam fanboy could.

As far as hitting your children go, as a man...lol who the fug am I kidding. As a fool, you don't understand that every professional in child rearing you can find advises against it, say it does a lot more harm than any good you can think of, gets easily misinterpreted, and teaches nothing but maybe misplaced fear. But by all means continue to think you're doing society a favor by doing what you're doing to your kids, and continue to lash back at people who attack your idiotic belief systems instead of re-evaluating them. You're the kind of idiot that walks into walmart, sees some kid running amok, and immediately concludes "well herp a derpy that's cuz they parents not giving em a slap in the ass"

Also what's a fringing clue, jimbo? I know what a frigging clue is, but I wasn't born with extra chromosomes like you were so I'm lost on that other one.

The team felt the same way. They didn't make him captain. Does that mean they weren't supportive?

Bahahaha you really put stock into that how pathetic. Jake Locker is team captain of the titans believe it or not. So is esteemed Oakland Raiders running back Marcel Reece. I guess if any merit should be given for being a team captain, then those guys are leaders of men in their own right. I mean just look at how well they're doing.

I'm going to give y'all an idea for another thread.

Things your parents told ya that ya don't understand until you are a parent yourself.

"Son, this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you. "

I remember thinking how full of poo.my dad was when he said that to me, before being disciplined.

I had tears rolling down.my face the first time I ever gave my son a swat/spanking.

And it still hurts me today more than it does them.

Luckily I also have a three year old that really helps keep myself in check as he's in that parroting phase.

Ok

How does this prepare a child for well-adjusted adulthood? I remember getting hit numerous times as a kid, sometimes with a belt. I remember also being told how thankful I should be that my father was doing it and not his father. But I can't remember what I did that caused it most of the time. I think everything I've accomplished to this point came in spite of it. Being disciplined like that taught me not to be aggressive and to not trust people to a point where it would be irrational. When I realized that and turned the gears in the other direction years ago, my life in general improved.
