From Deadspin, but they reference the NYT analysis.

There's no mention of Riverboat Ron, though, whose Panthers are eight-for-eight on fourth down during their eight game win streak, with six of the seven drives resulting in touchdowns. Over on Twitter Football Outsider's Aaron Schatz takes some issue with the Bot, echoing a sentiment that we've expressed on Regressing before.

The thing that is most lost in all of this is the fact that players are people. Coaching decisions can impact their confidence both positively and negatively. Players have to have confidence in all levels of the game to execute. They have to trust their coaches, trust their body, trust what they know, trust that their enemy is weaker, etc. .
