There's no way Riverboat Ron is human; he shows no mercy, destroying opposing teams at every opportunity.  Riverboat is actually the first wave of a group of alien invaders using robots to infiltrate all levels of human society. They smartly realized that, with America so divided over politicians, football coaches were the perfect target to gain trust of Americans.

 

I welcome our new Riverboat overlord, so long as he continues to win.

It's clear to me that this so-called "red light" that Ron supposedly ran was actually a metaphor. My guess is it was some sort of wormhole that unleashed bizarro Ron upon this dimension while sending our Ron there. Suddenly our fortunes have changed for the better, while the other dimension is wondering what happened to the dynastic Panthers. It'd be crazy if it wasn't true.

Remember that Jet Li movie "The One" where he traveled through dimensions killing all of his versions to become stronger?  In the movie wasn't there a red flash when he traveled through dimensions?  (red light= red flash).

I don't know the real origin but I believe Joe Person claims credit and many outlets have given him the credit.

I know they love starting the stats during the winning streak, but I think they should go back and start them against the Giants. That was where it all began. If Donald LaFell catches that 4th down pass in Phoenix, it might be a fuggin 10 game winning streak now.

 

Now that I think about it.....the Panthers are about to be one of a few teams that started 0-2 and make the playoffs.
