Passing offense is passing offense. That's like saying a running back got 2-3 yards more per carry because they got the hand-off behind the line of scrimmage. It's just not how it works. But feel free to twist stats to fit your dialogue as much as you'd like.

The Panthers won(against a team that beat the Saints) and the Saints lost(to a team that lost to the Panthers). There is no need for damage control on our end. Your's? Sure. The Saints have been great at home, there is zero argument there, but even the blindest of your fan base has to be nervous about traveling on the road, this late in the season. I mean at your pisshole dome you guys wreck s**t, outscoring teams 230-108 but christ that number falls off on the road. You're 3-4 and being outscored 162-112. This. Plus you said Geno was a total non factor. I guess his rushing TD doesn't count either for some reason?

I agree saints are a different team on the road - and the fact that they allowed the Rams (in a dome with no real crowd noise) to destroy them - is really frustrating.  It is on thing to lose - it is another to not show up, i.e.. Seattle and St. Louis.  Panthers most likely win sunday - if saints don't show up - they will be more embarrassed then they were against Seattle.   If they show up and play well - I think it will be a close game.

And by your own stat, Brees would be nothing more than an avg QB...he dinks and dunks to his RB and TE. Most of his passing yards are YAC.

#3 is the TE. You have to get to his #4 target before you get to a fugging WR, largely because there's no one left to throw to at that point.

Geno had 4 yards total through the air against Saints, he was a total non factor. Ex Saint Chris Ivory is who won that game, we had Hawthorne, Lofton, and Cam Jordan all playing with new leg and foot injuries and missed tackles was the difference. Ivory had 139 yards on 18 carries, but 109 came on 3 runs which were all huge. He was 2 yards a carry on his other 15 runs. Also, Saints were without Colston and Sproles, two of the 3 tops receiving targets.

In case you missed if, Brees most yards in Air, 2494, almost 100 yards more than Peyton who is number #2 who also has 400 more YAC added to his total.

So how does using a stat Brees is #1 in make him average? You must mean Newton, he's at #16, which is basically where average falls!
