What Saints Fans are Saying

I had a little moment this morning when dropping of my son at daycare. Saw a guy in a Saints hat so I look at him and say "Go Panthers!". He says "What!?", so I repeat myself. He then says "Y'all are gonna sweep us. Our offense isn't that good." I just looked at him with a WTF face.

They are the polar opposite in Asheville. I've had to listen to them rabble on and talk smack for weeks.

Every week at the bar, yelling and cheering for whoever is playing us. Along with NYG, Pats, Cowboys, & Steelers fans.

It's sad and hilarious at the same time. All these bandwagon fans filling up the bar every single week and cheering their hearts out against the hometown team. The amount of pure hate everyone has for Cam Newton is mind-boggling. They take it personal. He's becoming the LeBron of football.

Ah the joy of living in PA.  I haven't seen a Saints fan in years.

yawn we held him to 43 with one less carry, and we didn't have to load the box to do it...

The saints holding Lynch to 45 is what I call an aberration the reason it worked is simple you swamptards sold out to stop the run and Wilson killed you.

Wilson has killed a lot of people dumb ass. News flash cam isn't nearly as smart of a quarterback as Russell Wilson lol

He wasn't a Saints fan. He was probably Riley's cousin or some poo. If you see him again tell him to donate his hat to the nearest goodwill

LMFAO

browsing Saints report...  Funny stuff.

Carolina will become our most hated rival surpassing Atlanta. Mark my words that those who don't yet hate them you will after this game. I would almost guarantee there will be numerous fights in this one. That's is how they play and for the most part get away with it. Chico (thats waht they call Rivera around here) has them playing the bully role and it is working. They are cocky, arrogant and winning so get ready for it. They are a different organization than we are. We have won with high character, cerebral guys and Payton instills that you win and act like you have been there before. That also comes with being in the league for so long. This group is different. They haven't ever been there before and draft guys that are mouthy, edgy, abit crazy and in some cases just thuggy. Being a perenial loser they attract the same type of FA. Compare that to ATL where they have a few mouthy guys (Roddy), but this Panther team is full of them

There coach hasn't even coached 16 games yet since being suspended from the league.....and now they are known for being high character and classy...and us thugs?  Good stuff.

and if Roman Harper cheap shots someone b/c he knows he can't cover and tries to intimidate....he will get smacked again.  That isn't us being thugs....that is NO being fake tough.

Besides the obvious idiotic statements there, the poster does bring up some good points.  We probably will be the best two teams in the NFC South for as many years as Brees has left.

And the game will most definitely be chippy.  I rewatched the second half of the Bucs game on NFL Rewind...and man our defense is as physical as they come, and we let you know about it.  There was a drive in the 3rd quarter where Rainey was getting some good runs in a row.  Mitchell laid the wood on him and in no certain terms said "YEA B*TCH THAT'S M-- F-GGIN RIGHT" while standin over Rainey.  Kuechly then got in on the banter with Rainey over the next several plays.   Keek is not only probably the smartest guy on the field, but he can match any players intensity as well.

Our defense is nasty, but we don't go over the line with blatant cheap shots like other teams, including the Seahawks.

First, so quickly the forget Bounty-gate, no mention of it in the post replied to.

Second, I have to agree with Luke being the smartest player on the field but had to leave out probably. Watching his play adjustments versus NE was like a chess match. You don't lead the league in tackles as a rookie without having a high level of defensive aptitude and understanding and breaking down mentally where the offensive players are going.

they don't believe in bounty gate, they think it's a conspiracy... because, you know... they believe they are actual Saints.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
    • People here get mad when I tell them I prefer Miracle Whip over Dukes
