What Saints Fans are Saying

As a preview for this game, I look at the Saints matchup vs the 49ers some weeks ago. The 49ers almost won against the Saints, and Brees didn't look too hot. Our defense is better all around, especially with CJ. Also our offense is no joke at all. The Saints are wobbly right now after that beat down at the hands of the Seahawks, and the Panthers are in a great position to put them away in epic fashion. (Imagine the psyche for that team if they get jacked up two times in a row in front of the whole nation) I have two words for the Panthers this Sunday night...

Kano was the worst. Find one of Sub Zero (black n blue) about to annihilate Scorpion (yellow and black) and you got it right!

Other than that, I agree whole heartedly.

I ironically just got my approval email.. I will take my chances. I am not a trash talker when it comes to other fan bases. I enjoy the intelligent conversation of the game and different views and opinions are interesting to me. If I get banned then that's a shame, but I will be there just to add insight to conversations, not to troll.

if u don't mind my asking, What's ur name on that board?

Well one thing many people just don't understand is the logistics of football. The panthers are playing PHENOMENAL FOOTBALL, no doubt about it so the question you make ask is why is it going to change now, or what could lead to a change. Well the saints just came off of a but whoopin probably the worst in the brees-Payton era. So many of us just assume well the panthers are playing great we should capitalize off of this opportunity. I DONT UNDERSTAND THE LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE NFL. The saints play in big games all the time annually its nothing new to them. Everybody assumes that panthers d will do what the Seahawks d did. Hey do you guys know why that Seahawks d played so well Monday, raise your hand because I do because they played at HOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. If you think that Payton and Ryan won't cook up a creative game plan for a division opponent on primetime with so much on the line, then we have a retarded fan base

. In my personal opinion I don't believe we win this game I think the score will be about 24-21, maybe 30-27. Everybody saying whattttttttt we only allow 12 points a game, you need to have some respect for the saints offense and brees will find cracks in our secondary specifically the corners. They are no where near on par with Seattles secondary. Our d -line will create pressure as it always does but I dont think it will be enough their receivers are physical and can beat bump and run. Meachem can stretch the field that will open up deep crossing routes and post routes. All of their rbs are average but all three can pass protect, can be utilized in the passing game and run in and outside the tackles. I have been concerned about our secondary all year long, they are not playoff tested, nor battle tested, and none of them are ball hawks and create turnover opportunities on a consistent basis.

Sounds to me like Saints fans are trying to talk themselves into believing the Saints are a great team right now.

Their recent 4-3 record says otherwise.

They are a good team at home, but far from unbeatable.

I expect a close game Sunday night.

I agree. It will be close just like the Niners and Pats game.

Say what??? Some good points, some ignorant. How much football have you watched? Not enough time for Fleas to hit too many deep routes. Thomas Davis will shadow Reverend Jimmy Graham. Forget about their running game. I'm not worried about our D, this game comes down to our running game and Cam Newton. Period Point Blank. (I smell swampous)

Forget the running game, its on Cam

I've seen Cam as Tuscaloosa, I have seen him singlehandedly beat SC

The bigger the game is, the more destructive Cam is

Cam is a force of nature and he is about to bring it on the dome.

Overconfidence??? Maybe but I am not in the locker

Maybe Davis will shadow graham but know as well as I do that breed will lob the ball up there graham is 6'7 Davis might be 6'2, meaning that will require safety help. Sproles I know you don't expect Klein or Blackburn to cover him on space. I agree this game will come to cam ultimately, I think new Orleans will stack the box 8 against the run and on obvious passing down they will blitz the cratz our of him and play opportunistic football like the always do.

Exactly, that's guys terrible in coverage, Gronk beat him like a drum repeatedly so he had to cheat to win and has continued to do it and getting flags picked up. I'm sure Payton will address that with refs before game so they are aware he commits PI to avoid continuing to get beat. That Saints fan was pretty far off.

If 5 catches for 59 yards and a TD is beating him like a drum, then we will be glad to have him and the defense play such horrible defense against Graham.  I think you are focusing a little too much on the last play of the game.  Gronkowski is the best Tide End in football and all he could muster was 5 catches for 59 yards.

ummmmmmm he is coming off 2 injuries, probably not fully healthy, he has nobody to take the pressure off of him a very suspect run game. If Brady wanted to throw to gronk every single time then he probably would have had better stats, but gronk was probably used some as a decoy but as I said earlier there other receivers suck with the exception of amendola and he is just average.

No saftey help needed. The reverend will bow down once TD lays the wood on his candy a$$. Jimmy is soft, we will take him away. I like my chances of Luke on Tootsie Sproles (the force is strong with that kid)
