Tiebreaker Panthers vs. Saints

I think you misinterpreted something.

If we split with the saints AND we beat the jets and falcons we win the division due to common games won.

Well yea... sort of

The tie-breaker works in the order I listed it. Head-head matchup takes precedence over the others which is why if we defeat them twice nothing else matters IF the records are tie. Assuming we split 1-1, then the record in the division against division opponents comes next. Then common games so forth and so on

Bottom line, they will not lose to the Rams, no matter what the Rams don't beat an organization like that. 0% chance.

Payton's last completed season he went 13-3. He lost to the Rams that year.

Rams actually matchup fairly decent against them.

Forgot to add

Every game for us is crucial, but the Falcons is more important than the Jets cause they're in our division. The most important games for the Saints, besides us is the Bucaneers

I pointed out the Rams, cause they have a better chance defeating the Saints. 1. They're better. 2. Saints are at home against the Bucs. *why every year it seems their last game is a fugin home game?*

It goes head-head, division, then outside your division

The teams that have nothing to play for are the most dangerous sometime. So I wouldn't count the Rams out just because they have nothing to play for. I'm sure they would love to play spoilers for the Panthers right now. To sort of help us out you know. :)

I understand, but Kellen Clemens is their QB. The Saints are going to poo screw him.

Win out and we don't have to worry about this.

With the early Week 4 Bye, this team could really use the Bye in the Playoffs... but this team, under Rivera and Cam has shown to not show well after Bye Weeks...since they came to the team we are 0-3 after Bye Weeks.

2011: 30-3 L vs TEN

2012: 19-14 L vs DAL

2013: 22-6 L @ARZ

So part of me almost fears the playoff Bye... I know it's silly... but just look at 2009...

Go back and see the 2011 match-up against the Rams.  St Louis had a 24-0 and 31-7 lead on New Orleans.   This is with Sean Payton and Drew Brees at their finest.  St. Louis was 2:45 seconds from breaking Brees streak of consecutive TDs.  (Unitas fan so I was pleading they stop it)

If you would have told me Tampa goes to Seattle and nearly upsets the Seahawks and the Aints go to Seattle and gets trounced 99% of us would have laughed in your face.

ANY GIVEN SUNDAY

He was the qb when the rams embarassed Indy and Chicago. The saints have ready lost to a team that started Geno Smith at qb and had a physical defense. Don't see why it couldn't happen again. In fact I think that game is a toss up.
