This thread makes me laugh because I actually called into the Mac Attack this morning and complained about the wave that was going while the offense was on the field at one point yesterday.We were in 540

 

They gave me a gift card...free round of golf...woot!

 

but seriously people. stop being loud dammit!

 

 

I realize most fans do the wave because they are happy and i'm far from being a killjoy but there's  more annoying to me personally than people doing the wave?

You are there to watch the play on the field and cheer on your favorite team -- maybe witness something special that will be remembered for years to come. Not to watch a bunch of people jumping up and down in their seats because they think it's fun or looks cool to create a "human wave."

On the TV, it looked more like all those with red jerseys left early. Could 'nary see a one. There was waaaay too much red in those seats.

I didn't see the wave and I too noticed it was impressively quite while on offense.

I also noticed wady too many people saying Luukkkeee when Klein msde big tackles. Lol

I've said it a thousand times, BofA is pathetic. It always gets owned by opposing fans. It's so damn frustrating.

Not true.  The wave the crowds were doing at the US Open during Jimmy Conners' matches the year that he went on that run at age 40 was awesome.  ( they recently did a 30/30 thing on that US Open)

 

Mainly because it was tennis and those crowds are usually so boring.

I noticed that too, it was fantastic. We had a kid dressed up in a blue and black bodysuit with the head covering on it next to us, he was a blast and yelled as loud as I did - when it was time! Had lots of people up on third down too.

 

Best of all the seats behind us that always get sold off were occupied by Panthers fans! And the sole seat next to us that ALWAYS goes to an opposing team fan had a Bucs fan stationed in VA Beach in it, he was quiet the whole game. My wife felt a little sorry for him.

 

I did not.

this was an impressive outing despite being an otherwise mediocre game. almost no bucs fans, relatively quiet on offense, willing to stand up and make noise on defense (usually at the prompting of one or two fans in a section who bid them rise up.) also the wave never made it to 509.

 

it's still gross that so many milquetoasts beebop on out of their seats halfway through the fourth so they can go home and drink tea and read clive cussler novels and be in bed by 8pm, but hey it's a work in progress.

Bucs fans obviously were there. But I wouldn't say they "owned" anything lol. That's probably half the reason it was quiet on offense.
