I guess CBS didn't pay Boomer enough money. IMO, all of those EGO driven Ex-Football players hated Cam becaus they were told too. At least Boomer is holding out for more money to flip-flop for them.

 

Plus, I am waiting for them to admit that Cam is better than Luck and mean it or than even Andy D. is better than Luck. Until then, not buying.

If Cam entered the NFL with the Seattle, and RW entered the league in Carolina, I don't think RW would be in the conversation.  Cam would have been labeled as an immediate winner, and never would have suffered all of the losing and controversy.

 

Seattle's defense, o-line, and running game put RW into the perfect situation for a rookie QB, only now has Cam's team caught up.  Some of the haters will never mention this, but please believe that if any other QB had to deal with as much as Cam had to this would be brought up in defense.

 

All I hear now about Kaep and Luck's struggles are about the injuries and weapons and bad o-line, Cam has been dealing with that from day 1, level the playing field and all of a sudden we truly get to see who is better than who.  Cam overcame adversity, let's see how these other players are viewed once they deal with some adversity, I'm curious because other than RG3, they've all been put in very fortunate situations.

The experience gained by being a 3/4 year starter in college is huge. Cam didn't have that luxury and is still playing catch up. Or he was until recently.

Doesn't mean Cam is not intelligent. Just perhaps a little more green.

RW is a great improvisational thrower, and better at throwing on the run, but he can't shake a defender that's already got a hold on him like Cam can.

I get sz meant football intelligence. I just label it differently. Pre-snap adjustments, knowing your checkdowns, audibles. And he may have been right prior to this year. But cam has shaped up nicely. Still has work to do.

Whats great about cam is he knows his strenghths and has identified his weaknesses and has worked on them. We are seeing the fruits of those labors now. But he hasnt hit his ceiling. That is fuging crazy.

Russell Wilson is a stud, I'm not even gonna lie... he's going to be one of the best in the league for a long time... but you can't deny he's got a lot more help on the offensive side of the ball.  Not only that but also have a defense that isn't far behind ours (and in some people's opinions, better than ours).

 

Every Seahawks game I watch for every good Wilson play be it a scramble or what, there's consistent great runs by Lynch and amazing circus catches by his receivers and they get the YAC to go along with it.  Can't say the same for Cam's offensive help... aside from Olsen he has to put the ball right on the numbers every damn time to make a completion, very little margin of error.  I'm guessing that's what Marino, Sharpe, and Cowher are looking at as well.

 

Can you imagine how its gonna be when we get a receiver on the level of some of the best in the league?  unfortunately we are probably gonna have to make some pretty hefty trades to get a pick that high.. I doubt we get a top 18 pick for quite some time.
