I met Thomas Davis a few years ago in Atlanta (before his injuries and Peppers last year). I remember talking to him, I mentioned that I had recently seen a lot of Peppers jerseys on sale at the Reebok store and I was debating whether to get one or a #34 jersey. He looked at me and said, "what about that number 58 jersey man?"

Stupid me insulted the guy right in front of his face. Thomas still gave me one of his "Thomas Davis Chiropractor" shirts and signed it for me, and thanked me for being a Panthers fan.

From that day forward, I had so much respect for TD. Then I watched him go through 3 seasons with his knee injury and the guy makes arguably the most incredible comeback in NFL history. He gets no love last year for "come back player of the year" and he guy shakes it off and does his job.

Thomas Davis is the very definition of "Keep Pounding". He is the heart and soul of this team and HE is the reason we have the #1 defense in the NFL.

if hardy re-signs with us i think i'll buy his jersey, but i'll be damned if there's a sunday that goes by that i don't want a tolbert jersey more and more.
