Let's talk about Ginn

I've never seen Ginn so animated on sidelines after he fugs up.  I think he cares.  I watched a lot of him at Miami and he just didn't seem to care much.  He knows he has a shot to really show he is worth a starting slot on a team and I think he is working hard.

I think accusing him of sandbagging is ludicrous, but his vision in the return game does seem to be lacking the last couple of weeks.

I agree. If Ginn is not gonna give 100% effort then let somebody who will get back there.

I'm not trying to start a controversy here... But it's been bothering me for several weeks. If nobody else sees it, then maybe I'm reading too much into it. I'm totally content with where we are as a team.

I just feel like he made the team basically in a PR for a TD in the pre-season... And hasn't done squat since. Granted its easy for me as a fan to see the whole field and second guess his decisions on the field in real time As he has a limited field of vision.

I also have the Panthers D/ST in fantasy... And would like to see a PR for a TD. I'll be content to wait for him to break one when we need it the most though. I hope this post clears everything up

If that was true why does he try to run them out of the end zone instead of taking the touchback.

Sand bagging... Not trying hard.

 

That is not exactly what it means.  Sandbagging generally means you hold back early to make a bigger play later. 

 

 

That being said, I think the problem is that we just don't block very well on returns and Ginn is doing the best he can.

What....its why we got him on the cheap.....his hands are bad at times because he was given so few chances on other teams that had more legit WRs....we need him so we've given him the reps and he's doing ok for us.....look to extend but on the cheap.....

This is true. Perhaps I'm just over reacting to 2 plays in succession that I felt he should have scored on.

I do think his vision on that PR was poor but I think he has done pretty well in the passing game.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Barner once in a while but that's more because I want to see what he's got than because I'm unhappy with Ginn...
