Change At CB Position ?

I'm not overselling anybody. Denver is likely the most complete team in the league right now, save maybe the Hawks. There is no team anywhere near perfect this year, but we have more flaws and less experience than a Denver/NO/Seattle squad.

And how can you argue against Reid if it were a Reid vs Rivera matchup? He's a great coach, some of those Eagles teams made it further than they should have. On the contrary, Rivera has never made the playoffs as a head coach. He's had great success as a defensive coordinator, but even then, Colts vs Bears Super Bowl didn't turn out too well for his #1 rated defense.

Agree to disagree.

Denver is by far the scariest dome/warm weather team in the NFL.....

Cold winter/playoff weather greatly changes what they are. They can't even escape that with home field advantage.

And the been there and failed vs the never been there may matter some......but at one point everyone was a never been there coach. All the coaches you may praise once had no resume to back them either.

Give me a healthy team that is built to play in whatever the conditions are......come postseason time. That will vary week to week

("Your job is to keep it [play] in front of you and you have to,'' Rivera said after the game. "And we’re going to address that and make sure that it gets corrected. We’re going to play the guy that will do the things we ask him to do and do them the right way.")

Ron Rivera really layed it on the line. You can't get any plainer that this.

If the coaches deem Norman a better player than he was before then it might be worth a look to play him. We don't have much to lose at CB. They all have something to bring to the table but none of them have proven to be "good". I think Thomas had the best stretch of play before he started getting smoked.

Brady/Belichick, Brees/Payton, Peyton/Fox, Wilson/Carroll, etc etc are cool as ice in these situations. They're battle tested and know what they're doing. Our guys are all unpredictable and we have no idea whether they will change come playoffs or whether they'll stick to what they're been doing.

Yet almost every year there is a team that doesn't have all the parts or has been inconsistent that makes it to the superbowl.

Once you are in the playoffs you are a superbowl contender

We haven't made it to the playoffs yet and we are not leading our division. We have been playing much better and that says a lot.......but playoffs and superbowl are putting the horse before the cart. Let's keep this in perspective...we have won eight games so far with hopes of winning most of our remaining games. We are a good team on the rise amongst several good teams on the rise......I hope the expectations we all have will come to pass.
