Mario Addison is a PFF Superstar

Ok?

Hardy may just follow the money, we can't afford to give hardy a huge contract considering all the other free agents this team will have this off season. I like Hardy and would love to see him re signed but we all know Gettleman won't break the bank.

You're acting like hardy can easily be replaced by Addison, hardy does so much more than just rush the passer bro.

Not meaning to change the subject away from Mario Addison but is anyone familiar with Former Detroit Lions defensive end Lawrence Jackson?

I notice he is a free agent that was a previous high round draft choice. I certainly hope, like everyone else,we resign Greg Hardy, still it never hurts to check out other available player options in case that doesn't happen..

Never heard of him. Do you happen to be Lawrence Jackson?

And I totally agree with that. There's been many times when there's been a run play called to CJ's side and you see hardy come around and make the tackle. Like I said I really want them to re sign Hardy, I just think some team like Oakland is going to throw the bank at him.

I trust Gettleman though, he's done an amazing job so far with what he had to work with salary cap wise. I'm sure he will figure it out. But from a business standpoint it never hurts to have something waiting in the wings in case ur initial plan falls through.

I dont think that we have seen all of Gettlemans tricks yet.

He is clearly better and smarter than Hurney. I think too many fans are still stuck in the Hurney mentality.

Plus there are 2 or 3 other things we have going for us now that we didnt have 5 or even 10 years ago, but do now.

We have become a place with a winning mentality again, we have a franchise QB, We have good coaches, and players love playing for Rivera, it is known around the league.

In order to keep these things in tact in our hunt for a championship, I think that people forget to ad that into the equation. Hardy may sign a reasonable contract with nice incentives if that will keep this defense together, and his statistical numbers rising, a mutual benefit for both team and player going into the agreement.

Also there are plenty of players who could be asked to restructure as a way of resigning them. Also I believe that One of our 2 starting RBs will not be a Panther next year in preparation for the upcoming contracts. I have faith that Gettleman can get Cam, Hardy, Ginn, and some of the new defensive backs signed or even upgraded through the draft.

Godfrey will be gone also. That will free up a nice chunk of change...

If you never heard of him, then it's obvious you don't follow the annual NFL Draft. DE Lawrence Jackson was a highly rated player in 2008, having played at USC and was the Seahawks #1 (28th overall) draft choice.

( "Lawrence Christopher Jackson[1] (born August 30, 1985) is an American football defensive end who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at USC.")

Dunno how you guys saw it but the fumble recovery by Addison was pure hustle. He was pushed well beyond the play and never gave up. He turned back and went after the play and happened upon the ball...

My post after the New England game when Addison recovered the red zone fumble....

Yep, I'll say it: I called it!
