I'm with you dude. I mean if we were designed to eat only vegetables why in the world do I have these pesky flesh cutting teeth in my head? Should I have them pulled? They are obviously hurting my body by giving it means to masticate meat.

Herbivore:

Our teeth have very little impact on our ability to eat meat, because even without tiger fangs we have evolved something else that allows us to: knives.

Human kind in general are omnivores. But people on both sides of this spouting off any crap that pops into their heads and using it to justify what humans are "meant" to do are buffoons.

Our most recent ancestors were far more herbivore than carnivores and most of our physical features related to food consumption and digestion reflect that.

But as you point out, we have adaptations to overcome a lot of that.

The teeth we have place us in the omnivore category not herbivore or carnivore.

We are FAR MORE in the "herbivore direction" than "carnivore direction."  Our teeth are examples of those typically used by primary herbivores.  But that doesn't mean we have to be herbivores.  However, it's patently false to claim our teeth suggest we're "meant to eat meat."  That's not true at all.

We can eat cardboard if we want to doesn't mean we should nor does it mean our bodies are DESIGNED to DIGEST it...Theres a big difference...You can put anything in your mouth but our bodies are smarter than we are and they are designed to absorb nutrients and minerals....study how the body works and you will find out your answer...till then just yelling out crap you heard on a burger king commercial is not food education.....some of us still eat like we are a kid, time for us to research and learn about our bodies and its relationship regarding food.

I don't actually think there is just "one right way" to eat healthy, and I don't think that anatomical features of our body necessarily dictate how one should eat.  But many of those features do tell us what our ancestors ate and what our bodies evolved doing.  However, as other posters have pointed out, we have adaptations that allow us to change our diets... so... Meh.

You're certainly someone to listen to on that.

There's not one right way, but there are definitely far more wrong ways than right ways. Either way I think the sculpted million dollar athlete adonis who is the subject of the thread will be ok without taking BillyBob999's advice to "eat a damn hamburger".

What physical features, in general?

But as you point out, we have adaptations to overcome a lot of that.

eating nothing but fish could be very bad for you, depending on the variety and the place they come from..wild alaskan salmon, hell yeah... atlantic talapia.. worse food ever (look it up)

Tilapia is a fresh water fish that come from massive disgusting growing tank farms.

I've been considering becoming one myself. My absolute devotion to pepperoni pizza is killing me, though.

That is my main problem too.  That and Chick-fil-a are the only two food vices I have left.

The other problem with this diet for me is that I live in CO, so seafood is severally lacking in quality.
