Pumpkin vs Sweet Potato Pie

Y'all are crazy man. Ain't nothing like a piece of sweet potato pie or like my kin folks down in MS say, "some hot potato pie."

Sweet potato for the win. I never had a slice of pumpkin pie until last year. Had a bite and thought to myself, the fug? This sweet potato knockoff.

Pumpkin Crisp.  Its like Pumpkin/Pecan and Sweet Potato rolled into one.

 

It's greater than whatever pie youre going to say and anyone who doubts this also believes the earth is flat and Elvis and Tupac live on a deserted island together.

 

Anyone that has tried it and not liked it is either a.  Saints Fan  or b. A psychopathic killer and you should run.

Wrong! My family made it from the actual pumpkin itself. There is nothing like it.

lol no. Can't use pumpkins carved for Halloween for pie. Bought smaller ones with thicker husk for pie. From scratch is awesome, my mom never added a lot of spice as most pie filling pumpkin has. btw you can buy canned pumpkin without anything added; then it's almost like from scratch. Besides, cinnamon and ginger in pumpkin pie? Yuck! No wonder you don't like it!
